Home Screen widgets (iPhone)

Ration for iPhone includes three widgets: Supply, Eat, and Today. To add one, touch and hold the Home Screen, tap Edit → Add Widget, then search for Ration.

Sign in in the Ration app first. A signed-out widget shows Open Ration to sign in. Signing out of the app, or signing in as someone else, clears widget data.

WidgetSizesWhat it does
SupplySmall, Medium, Large, Lock ScreenUnchecked items on your Live Supply. Small shows the count and the first item. Tap a row (Medium: 2, Large: 5) to check it off; it shows Bought and stays on Live Supply until you dock in the app. On Medium and Large, + opens Live Supply ready to type. Lock Screen shows the count (or Nothing to buy) and up to two names, and is not tappable.
EatSmall, Medium, LargeFood from Cargo: recent items, or one Cargo tag chosen in Edit Widget. Small is a glance. Tap a counted item (slice, can, pack, unit) on Medium (2 rows) or Large (4 rows) to eat one: it shows Eaten, takes one from Cargo, and logs a private serving when Macro Tracking is on. Gram, ml, and dozen items show Choose amount and open Ration.
TodaySmall, Medium, LargeToday's planned meals by Breakfast, Lunch, Snack, and Dinner, marked Cooked when done. Small shows the next meal, Nothing planned, or All cooked. With a calorie goal, Medium and Large show Calories remaining; Large adds Protein, Carbs, and Fat. Read-only.

Each widget has an Appearance option (System, Light, Dark) in Edit Widget.

Widgets refresh about once an hour, when you leave Ration, and after a tap on the widget. Couldn't update or Offline means the last refresh failed; open Ration to retry. Couldn't log that bite means Ration could not confirm an Eat tap; open Cargo in the app to check before tapping again.
