Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Ration platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service. The Service is operated by Mayutic ("we", "us", or "our"), which provides the Ration platform.
2. Description of Service
Ration is a smart Cargo management system designed to track inventory, facilitate meal planning, and reduce waste. Our services include:
- Inventory tracking and management
- AI-assisted meal generation and meal planning
- Visual scanning and item recognition
- Free visual scanning utilizing third-party AI providers
3. Age Requirement
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction — for example, 13 in the United States). By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are a parent or guardian who has discovered that your child has created an account without your consent, please contact us at legal@mayutic.com and we will delete the account promptly.
4. User Accounts & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
Connected AI agents: When you authorize an MCP-compatible client via OAuth, you delegate access within the scopes and household you approve. You remain responsible for actions the agent takes on your behalf until you revoke the grant in Settings. API keys you create manually are separate credentials and should be protected accordingly.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service:
- In any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation.
- To exploit, harm, or attempt to exploit or harm minors in any way.
- To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material, including any "junk mail", "chain letter," "spam," or any other similar solicitation.
- To impersonate or attempt to impersonate Mayutic, our personnel, another user, or any other person or entity.
- To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Service, or which, as determined by us, may harm us or users of the Service, or expose them to liability.
- Specifically: You explicitly agree not to abuse or attempt to reverse-engineer our AI endpoints or credit system.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Mayutic and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of Ireland, the European Union, and other applicable jurisdictions. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.
8. Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds
Certain features of the Service require the purchase of credits or an active subscription. Purchases on the web are processed by Stripe and sold by Mayutic as merchant of record. iOS purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. By completing a purchase you agree to the following terms:
- Pricing and VAT: Prices displayed in EUR for consumers in the European Union include VAT where applicable. The total price shown at checkout is the amount you will be charged.
- Credits: Credit packs are non-refundable once purchased. Credits that have already been consumed (e.g. used for scanning or AI generation) cannot be restored or transferred. Unconsumed credits remain in your account until used or until your account is deleted.
- Subscriptions: The Crew Member subscription is billed at the interval and price displayed at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling a subscription stops automatic renewal at the end of the current billing period; no pro-rata refund is issued for the unused portion of the period unless required by law or by the payment processor's policies. Subscription credits granted at the start of a billing cycle are subject to the same non-refundable terms as purchased credits.
- Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers): If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from distance contracts. For digital content supplied immediately (credits, subscriptions, and digital features), you acknowledge that performance begins upon purchase and expressly consent to immediate supply when you complete checkout or accept these Terms at sign-up, which may limit or exclude your withdrawal right once digital delivery has begun, as permitted by applicable law.
- Exceptions: We will issue a full refund for any charge that results from a technical error on our part (e.g. a duplicate charge). Refund requests must be submitted to legal@mayutic.com within 14 days of the charge.
- Payment processors: Payment information is collected and stored by Stripe, Inc. for web purchases or Apple for iOS App Store purchases. RevenueCat manages subscription entitlement status across platforms. We do not store card or App Store payment details. Billing address may be collected at checkout for tax compliance and is processed by Stripe. See Stripe's Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy and Apple's privacy information at apple.com/legal/privacy.
9. Disclaimer
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.
Mayutic uses third-party AI providers for certain features. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content or analysis.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mayutic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Irish or EU consumer protection law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that the courts of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising from or connected with these Terms, subject to mandatory consumer protections that may entitle you to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
12. Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect may require your re-acceptance, as indicated at sign-in or in the Service.
